Braven Films Internship Opportunities

Braven Films is an independent production company located in the heart of Manhattan in the Flatiron District. We focus particularly on international projects that are often inspired by true events while collaborating with award winning talent from all over the world.

Braven Films is always on the look out for proactive interns with varied skill sets and overall passion for the entertainment industry. Interns will be called upon to help with a range of tasks from script coverage to business administrative work, financial tracking, graphic design and visual communications.
We are searching for applicants who either major in English, Film Studies, Communications, Business Management and/or Visual Communications or have skills in these areas.
Daily tasks will depend on your skillset and capabilities, these may include:
– Collaborate with other interns to edit and complete detailed coverage of scripts to be sent back to writers and studios
– Compile casting options for scripts, pitch decks and presentations
– Research writers, directors and heads of department for scripts currently on Braven’s production slate
– Draft regular correspondence with industry professionals Braven -Films has continuing industry relationships with
– Participate in finance and budget meetings with the CEO
– Work on updating the business plan for Braven Films in line with our production slate and future planned endeavors
– Create detailed budgets and spreadsheets to track business finances for projects in production
– Read and analyze contracts with basic understandings of legal knowledge
– Understands visual communications and can work with online forums such as website design, pitch decks and presentations
– Can assemble images to visually communicate the films and scripts being pitched, using typography, motion graphics to complete these designs
– Will ensure consistent graphics are used across all Braven platforms

Candidates with particularly strong written English skills, script coverage experience, production experience, passion for screenplays and native Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply for this role. All candidates must have an exceptional written correspondence with polite tone and clear formats.
