SPWA Pre-Buys Rights To Michael Cera-Juno Temple Vacation Thriller

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions pre-bought rights in the U.S. and other territories for the untitled Sebastian Silva thriller starring Michael Cera (Superbad), Juno Temple (Dirty Girl), Emily Browning (Sucker Punch) and Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace). The film is written and directed by Silva, whose film The Maid won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance and nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Golden Globes two years ago. SPWA’s deal includes rights in Canada, Latin America, Scandinavia, South Africa and Eastern Europe.
